From dream to reality
For many years founder
Nick Torino had visualized the formation of a computer
club where computer enthusiasts could meet to share the
vast information available in our rapidly changing world
of technology.
One day Nick mentioned this idea to to some friends and
students who responded with enthusiasm. At that instant,
Nick’s thought processes kicked into high gear, and the
idea that had been just a thought for so long began to
take shape. It was time! With a head full of ideas, Nick
began designing this web site the very next day, Geeks n
Tweaks was born!
Today, Nick’s dream of a computer club in Monroe County
has become a reality. It is a place where geeks, guru's
and anyone with a serious interest in computers can
gather together to learn, share their knowledge, and
discuss the pleasures and frustrations of computing in
the 21st century. |

Nicks wonder of computers started back in the early 90's
when he computerized his then, residential and
commercial cleaning business. At the time, there were no
offerings of computer courses, which left him spending
many painstaking hours tinkering, mastering the computer
through proficient self teachings. Nick is a master

network set ups and has a great style of developing well
designed, easily navigated web sites. He has won several
